If you would like to support the Climate Justice Flotilla initiative, please first have a read through our website. This will help you get a sense of how we work, and what we are about.
Most of our internal communication is done through the Signal app, which you will need to instal on your phone. Some meetings are held through Zoom.

Mandate: social media, messaging, communication strategy and outreach. It will be the campaign and comms group.
Skills required: Social media, writing, translation (EN and SP), graphic design, web design (using WordPress), video editing. - ⛵Logistics Working Group
Mandate: Boat procurement, assessment and acquisition. Reaching out to people that can support on the ground with these functions.
Skills required: Sailing (Yachtmaster offshore or equivalent qualification), boat maintenance, mechanic, electricity (12 volts systems), painting, general DIY. - 💰 Fundraising Working Group
Mandate: Launching a crowdfunding, collecting funds and disbursing funds. - 🤝🏽 Campaign and Outreach WG

We have a number of working groups which usually meet once a week on Signal. If you want to join any of them, please apply here
General decision-making is made by the Steering Committee, or in the General Assembly meeting which takes place every week on Wednesdays at 15:00 UTC on Zoom.
The Steering Committee is composed of the three founding members: Global Sumud Flotilla, Flotilla 4 Change and United for Climate Justice + 1 or 2 delegates from each the working groups.
