All the teams hard work is starting to pay off!
The flotilla’s two boats, Apsara and Waterproof (now renamed Ocean Rebellion, our very own boat, purchased last week), set sail at noon on Saturday from Guadeloupe for St Marteen where they arrived in the early afternoon on Sunday after a fast and pleasant crossing, although some of the most inexperienced crews suffered from seasickness.

In St Marteen, we met up with local activist Riddhi, from the Dutch Caribbean Climate and Social Justice collective as well as with a Climate Trace delegation from nearby Puerto Rio, a very heard warming experience for all involved

At university campus of St. Martin, Antonio from the St. Martin university, Andrea del Mar and Isatis from Climate Trace Puerto Rican delegation (next to Antonio) and Riddhi (on the right, next to Lino) from the Sint Maarten government
A number of small technical problems on Ocean Rebellion are forcing us to wait until the shops reopen on Tuesday after the Easter break, but our two skippers, Emil and Christophe, are working together to solve them, and we will be able to set sail again on Wednesday for the 3 days / 460 miles passage to Bonaire.
So great that you are actually underway!
